PEVBoss
A live dashboard for any VESC-powered vehicle — right on your wrist.
PEVBoss is a little Apple Watch app for monitoring and tracking any VESC-powered vehicle. Ebike, scooter, electric skateboard, Onewheel — even a robot or an electric boat — if it runs a VESC, PEVBoss connects straight to it over Bluetooth and turns your watch into a live dashboard: speed, battery, motor stats, and fault alerts, all on your wrist. Built for DIY builders and the VESC community. No phone needed.
What it shows you
- Live speed and trip distance while you ride
- Battery percentage, voltage, and VESC-BMS details
- Motor and controller telemetry straight from your VESC
- Real-time fault and alarm alerts
- Watch complications so your board is one tap away (requires watchOS 26 or newer)
Why does PEVBoss ask for Workout permission?
- watchOS only lets an app keep running in the background during an active workout session. PEVBoss starts a workout while you ride so it can stay connected to your vehicle and keep tracking the whole way.
- PEVBoss does not read your health or fitness data. The workout session is used purely to keep the app alive during a ride.
